【Saipan Travel Tips・Immigration 🛬】
Although Saipan, located in the Northern Mariana Islands, is a U.S. territory, travelers holding a Hong Kong SAR passport or BNO can enjoy 45 days of visa-free treatment. Coupled with Hong Kong Airlines’ direct flights, traveling to Saipan is now really convenient.
Although there are visa-free and direct flights, there are still some things you need to pay attention to before entering the country.
✅ All passengers entering Saipan must make customs declaration electronically and obtain a QR code before boarding the plane. Click here to apply for QR code
✅ Fill out the Customs and Border Protection paper version of Form I-736 before arriving in Saipan. After filling out, you must have a printed version for use when entering the country. (Note that the signature part on the form must be printed and signed by hand‼️) Click here to download Form I-736
✅ It is recommended to pre-print the round-trip flight and hotel reservation information for easy inspection by the customs.
✅ If you plan to travel by car to Saipan, remember to bring your international driving license.
✅ If you carry more than 10,000 US dollars, you must declare it.
